Hi I want to make some movies and stuff and I was wondering what you absolutely need to make one. Like do you need a green screen and stuff? If someone could tell me all you need and what to get at an affordable price, that’d be great. Also wear to get the stuff. Thanks!

Well it all depends on what you’re planning on making. You probably don’t need a green screen, but again it all depends on what you’re making and the level of production you are planning on doing. You may also want to take some classes, but again, it really depends on what you are doing.

I think green screen technology may be a little out of your league for the time being. You can get to that later. Start with the basics:

    + camera
    + tripod
+ steady-cam stabilizer for shooting while walking
+ wheelchair/shopping cart for dolly shots
    + lights and bounces
+ external mic and boom for dialog

And of course you’ll need editing and effects software. I have no idea what the good software is these days, so you’re on your own there.

Hey you asked the question in the wrong forum. Try asking it in the Cameras area. You will probably get better answers there.
