What are the must-haves for video equipment?

Well it all depends on what you’re planning on making. You probably don’t need a green screen, but again it all depends on what you’re making and the level of production you are planning on doing. You may also want to take some classes, but again, it really depends on what you are doing.
Posted on: October 5th, 2009 at 8:06 pmI think green screen technology may be a little out of your league for the time being. You can get to that later. Start with the basics:
+ camera
+ tripod
+ steady-cam stabilizer for shooting while walking
+ wheelchair/shopping cart for dolly shots
+ lights and bounces
+ external mic and boom for dialog
And of course you’ll need editing and effects software. I have no idea what the good software is these days, so you’re on your own there.
